Prince George's Council of CERTs
PRINCE GEORGES COUNCIL OF CERTS
The Prince Georges Council of CERTs represents every CERT trained individual in the county as well as CERT teams that have formed on their own or through a municipality.
CERTs join this group to be represented on the Citizen Corp Council which coordinates FEMA grants and response of other civic groups, as well as representation to the County Department of Emergency Management and County Department of Homeland Security.
The Council of CERTS (pgccc) is currently comprised of the following CERT teams from both municipal and unincorporated portions of the county:

All CERT classes in the county are tracked by the council and individuals not being sponsored by a team are directed to the closest team for there area. Once several individuals in an area are trained, we assist them in forming their own team and being part of the Council of CERTs.

The council of CERTs is a non-governmental entity and as such represents the concerns of all CERTs to the State and County. Please join and support your CERT teams!
